Broaden holds and processes some information about its clients and other persons who may be interested in our services.
This privacy notice applies to all Broaden operations and explains the type of information that we process and why we are processing it.
Information and Consent
On May 25th, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force. The GDPR is a European regulation that aims to strengthen the protection of personal data of all individuals in the EU.
Broaden maintains a database of appointments made using the “Contacts” form. The data present in this database are only the data provided by themselves when filling out the respective form, being collected and processed automatically by Broaden, the entity responsible for the corresponding file.
In no case will we carry out any of the following activities with the personal data provided to us through this website, assign to other persons or other entities, without the prior consent of the data subject, or transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA), without the prior consent of the data subject.
How, when and why do we collect your personal data?
Most of the personal data we process about you comes directly from you, whether face to face, over the telephone, on a paper form, by email or online, for example:
- When you agree to market or sell your property through Broaden or ask us to perform a valuation
- When you express an interest to one of our staff, or representatives, in buying or selling real property
- When you fill out a form at Broaden.pt or other portals where Broaden advertises its properties
Broaden guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its customers.
The user may voluntarily make personal data available, without the lack of response implying a decrease in the quality or quantity of the corresponding services (unless it is otherwise indicated). However, the lack of response to the data, considered mandatory, will imply the impossibility of accessing the service for which the data was requested.
Our website uses cookies, as almost all websites do, to help provide you with the best browsing experience possible. A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer, or mobile device, by our website’s server which allows our website to remember your preferences, language, location, to personalize your experience.
Broaden process personal data to fulfil our commitments to you, including to provide good service and well-functioning.
Security Measures
Broaden, whenever accessing any personal data, undertakes to use the data exclusively for the previously defined purposes. In the same way, make sure that the data are processed only by workers whose intervention is necessary for the provision of the service, being obliged to the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If there is a possibility that the information may be disclosed to third parties, they should be obliged to maintain due confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.
In accordance with the provisions of the LDPD and the GDPR, the user can exercise his rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, opposition and portability at all times.
